Coyote Canyon - 500 pieces
Coyote Canyon - 18x24 - The pieces are good-sized and very sturdy. The odd shapes helped make the puzzle a fairly quick one. I did not, however, like the fact that some pieces would fit two other pieces, even the odd-shaped ones, and you couldn't tell it was the wrong piece until you tried to get the third one in place. But overall, pretty fun!
I did forget to take a picture while it was still on the table; it's laying on a stack of finished puzzles.

3 Finishes
On Father's Day, my Da likes to grill and then he falls asleep in his recliner :D It's become a tradition.
So since I'm currently hooked on puzzles, I decided at the last minute to grab one to take with me. I wanted a small one, but all I could think of that was small was some Christmas puzzles I bought at (yet another) yard sale. So I grabbed the box and this is what got done!
Feathered Friends, 100 Pieces - 7x9
Caroling Snowmen, 100 Pieces - 7x9
Winters Nap, 300 Pieces - 15x11
These were all just for fun - they took no time at all, really, and my sister found it highly amusing that I was working on Christmas puzzles in June. My mum had a good time too, stealing the last couple pieces and putting them in place, then declaring she had 'finished the puzzle' for me. LOL!
There are seven more puzzles in the set; I'm going to do them for a quick bit of fun between bigger puzzles, then put them all up for sale or trade. Meanwhile, the current 1000 piece project continues to go s-l-o-w-l-y, because I'm still on double shifts and I'm down to the last couple hundred pieces which all look exactly alike!

Moonlight & Magnolias - 1000 pieces (kinda)
Obviously, there's a piece missing.
Also, there were no leftovers, so I supposed this 1000 piece puzzle actually has 1025 pieces. There were 1028, but three were blue on the back instead of grey like these.
I'm going to work the other puzzles I bought at the same time as this one next, on the off chance that the lost piece is in one of those boxes. It's possible. Or it could be in the bottom of the trunk I keep my puzzles and games in.
Or it could be long, long gone in some other person's vacuum cleaner. Who knows?

6-5
Anything even slightly easy is done now. Also, that last piece of the purple dress seems to be missing. But I'm going to keep going in hopes I'm overlooking it. Otherwise I will be searching through the other puzzles I got at the same time to see if it's in another box. Please excuse the piece I left on the grey dress; I didn't see it when I was taking the pic.

It Begins
Final count - my mother recounted just to be sure - 1028.
?!
Three pieces are definitely from another puzzle as they are a different color on the back. As for the other 25, I have no idea. I did buy several puzzles at the same yard sale (I think about six of them for a whole dollar!) so they may belong elsewhere.
Here is the outline almost together - one piece is missing.
Now comes the long part of turning all the other pieces over and hopefully the missing edge piece will show up. If it doesn't, I'll know the puzzle is definitely incomplete and move on to another.
This one promises to be a tough one - it's older, and all the pieces are the same shape, unlike newer puzzles. I do like a challenge, though!

Falling in Love - 300 pieces
'Falling in Love' Started at 11:10 pm 6-2-12, finished 12:20 am 6-3-12. 18x14 By Papercity Puzzles.
I knew this one was going to be easy, but that was ridiculous! It felt like it took about fifteen minutes, though, so I guess that means it was fun XD Beautifully printed but the puzzle itself was a little flimsy and one or two pieces were bent. I hate that. Otherwise, not too bad but I don't know if I'll buy any more of this company's puzzles unless I fall in love with the picture like I did this one. I do already have one more, bought at the same time, but it's much bigger. Hopefully it will also be sturdier.
I haven't picked my next puzzle yet, I'll post a box pic when I do!

Journey to Sacred Mountain - 1000 pieces
I had insomnia last night :D
'Journey to Sacred Mountain' by Ceaco. 27x20. Finished 6-2-12
This puzzle was surprisingly easy, despite its size. It has odd-shaped pieces and enough detail to make it just enough of a challenge. The only truly difficult parts were his hair and his right hand, and even they weren't all that bad. Just a lot of similar pieces.
