100 Chickens and a Worm - 750 Pieces

18x24 inches, by Ceaco.  The worm was really hard to find - I thought at first it was that grey thing wrapped around the one chicken's legs, but it is actually in one of the chicken's mouth - it is so tiny you can't even see it in this picture and my close-up attempts were all burned out.  My Mum has this one to work now, so I may try to get another shot when she puts it together!

Progress #1

Long Time, No Post!

I haven't posted here in almost two months!  How awful! lol
But I've been too busy with Christmas gifts to work on puzzles.
Here is the box of one that I did back at the end of October, though.
I will put up a pic a day of its progress!  By then I hope to have started a new puzzle!!!

Mountain Wilder Kaiser - Tyrol, Austria - 500 Pieces

After the rest of the puzzle, the mountains were surprisingly easy.  16x19, a Vista puzzle by Leap Year.

The trees are horrible - all out of focus and fit very nicely together!  What a cheap puzzle - lol!  But I shall persevere!  I've got a feeling the sky at the top is out of place, too.  We'll see...

All the pieces are there, but it will take more work to finish the bottom of the frame - the picture on the box looks great, but the puzzle is out of focus.  It wouldn't be so bad, but most of the pieces fit together really well even if they don't actually BELONG together.  Yeesh!  The only way to be certain is to get the pieces above it in place.

There seems to be an edge piece missing - but since it is a new puzzle, I will keep going!  I've only had one Puzzlebug that ever really had a piece missing.  At least, so far!

This would have been my next project, but when I started it, four pieces were missing just from the frame.  I guess every yard sale find can't be a gem!  On to the next :D

Wow, I have neglected this blog!

But there have been several puzzles worked so lots of pics over the next few days!

First up:

Forest Animals - 500 Pieces

This one is about 24x27, I think.  I didn't do the cm to inches math to know for sure.
By Educa, and the box says it originally came with glue and a box stand to hold the lid while you worked.  It also had an offer to replace and lost pieces for free - it's a company in Spain, I think.  Wish American companies did that!  This was a yard-sale purchase.  It will be going on eBay after my Mum works it.

Another lovely, colorful one!  My mum has worked this puzzle since I did, and has decided it needs to be glued!  I haven't done it yet though.
